Birds stopped eating millet (1 Viewer)

My garden birds have suddenly stopped eating the millet that is in my wild bird seed. The same thing happened last year at the same time - late February. They usually eat every scrap every day. Does anyone know why this happens?

OF the 2 Millets white is their least favorite but beyond that both red and white are at the bottom of the list in regards to birds liking any seed that's why most bags of seed found have lots of millet. Seed sellers see it as just a filler to increase profits.

Very different to my findings. I feed white millet once a week in a seed feeder - the house Sparrows, greenfinches and chaffinches take to it till empty and anything spilled is taken by the doves and pigeons. Surprisingly they didn't seem keen on red millet.

My birds don't seem to like the red millet anytime. I do my best to avoid buying mixed seeds bags that contain millet, not easy, but can get it from Ivel Valley.
