A colleague says she has a bird in her garden , in Dorset, UK, which whistles the first line of Aqua's barbie Girl. I think it's a blackbird - anyone got any other suggestions?

This could be quite an interesting theme, guessing bird songs from pop tunes!

The Barbie Girl song is surely a Blackbird.

Eton Rifles must be a Song Thrush - I can make that fit the chorus.

Funnily enough, I was trying to explain the difference between Robin and Blackbird song the other day, and said the difference was in the pitch and delivery, with Robin being like Justin Timberlake to Lionel Richie's Blackbird.

I suppose it could also be a Starling, they are pretty good mimics. They can mimic car alarms, and mobile phone ring tones.
