Bird Call ID Help - East Cornwall UK (1 Viewer)

Hi all, my first post here. I am a keen garden bird watcher (read: I like to watch as I am drinking my cuppa!). I have a decent knowledge of the more common garden bird calls, however there is a new one I have been hearing for a couple of weeks now and I am scratching my head over it. I thought it could almost be a Great Tit but it's not really the same as great tit calls I usually hear. Merlin (I know it's not always accurate but still), doesn't even give me a suggestion at all! I am located in East Cornwall, and I have the UK and EU bird packs installed yet nothing.
It calls three times in this recording, and I have attached a screenshot of what the pattern looks like on Merlin.

There is a sort of UK birding saying along the lines of 'if you hear a strange bird call in the woods/gardens etc, then it is probably a Great Tit'. That does tend to be true a LOT of the time (though Chaffinches do sometimes get in on that act too). Many's the time I've spent a while trying to track down the source of a strange call.....only to find it is indeed a Great Tit. Your call does sound like a Tit species, very probably Great Tit.
