Binocular shop London (1 Viewer)

Can anyone recommend a shop either in or close to (within 50 miles) London where I can try a good range of bins before I buy? I know there are some great shops out there but none of them seem to be anywhere near the capital.

They also have one at the London Wetland Centre, Barnes but I'm not sure how much stock they keep. You can visit without paying to enter - or combine your search for bins with some birding.

Microglobe are in London and looking at their website they seem to have quite a few in stock. I have bought from them over the net and they usually have good prices. The link is below.

The London Camera Exchange chain has a store in The Strand:

This advertises that it has "a large range of binoculars and telescopes for you to look through and try". The chain as a whole certainly stocks Zeiss glasses, but you'd need to contact them directly to make sure they have Conquest glasses at that branch for you to try.

Usual disclaimer: I have spent far too much money in LCE branches in Hampshire and Dorset, but have no other tie to the company.
