I have heard very good things about Glasgow Binocular Repairs. RSPB/Viking use them for their warranty repairs and they also have great experience with older binoculars.

Thanks for the replies, Funny enough one of the bins I'm thinking of sending is a pair of ross stepruva 9x35 which are shown on the optrep page the other being a pair of ross steptron 8x30.

I'll give them both a call and see what is the best thing to do. If its too dear then there is no point in getting them done as both are optically fine.
