Hi, continuing with my inquiry -- I took these pictures in Belize on January 21, 2025 near San Ignacio at the Green Hills Butterfly Ranch. Here are my thoughts:

1. In the front is a White-bellied Emerald, but is it possible to ID the hummer in the back? (I am thinking Green-breasted Mango)
2. Scaly-breasted Hummingbird
3. Wedge-tailed Sabrewing (for the violet-colored crown, so this is a male)

Thanks in advance,
Howard

Now I have doubts whether 2 is actually a Scaly-breasted Hummingbird. I now think it is a female White-necked Jacobin.

I think this is a legit Scaly-breasted Hummingbird.
