Bat Identification (1 Viewer)

Hi
We found this little bat in our house - no idea how he got in but think he ventured down the wood burner. Can anyone identify the type (apologies the photos aren’t the best!)? This was in Cambridgeshire, UK, and he flew off after taking him outside.

It looks like a noctule. Measure the body length - it should be 60 to 80 mm and across the head ear to ear 15 to 20mm.
