This was a trip we had planned for February 2021 with the fabulous Brazil Birding Experts. We had birded the north with Ciro Albano the previous December and it was so fantastic that we arranged this before leaving. Then Boris opened his mouth about a virulent Covid variant and Brazil banned us from going. We were so looking forward to this and were not disappointed apart from the last bit! Damned weather!
