Ammomanes deserti azizi Ticehurst & Cheesman, 1924 OD v.45=no.290-298 (1924-1925) - Bulletin of the British Ornithologists' Club - Biodiversity Heritage Library
Named in honour of His Highness Abdul Aziz ibn Saud, Sultan of Nadj.

Desert Lark ssp. Ammomanes desertiazizi Ticehurst & Cheesman, 1924
Abdul Aziz bin Abdur-Rahman al Su'ud (1876–1953) was King of Saudi Arabia (1932–1953).

Abdul Aziz bin Abd ur-Rahman as-Su’ūd King of Saudi Arabia (1875-1953; reigned 1932-1953) (subsp. Ammomanes deserti).

Björn recently reported that Mearns & Mearns 2022 have her as:
Abdul Aziz (Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud) (1875–1953), ... "King of Saudi Arabia from 1932 to 1953, known in Arabia as Abdulaziz and in the West as Ibn Saud. ..."

If Wikipedia is correct Ibn Saud - Wikipedia indeed born 15 January 1875. But if I read the german Wikipedia supposedly born on that date. I am not sure if there is an official record about his birth.

“Arabic names won’t go into English, exactly, for their consonants are not the same as ours, and their vowels, like ours, vary from district to district. There are some ‘scientific systems’ of transliteration, helpful to people who know enough Arabic not to need helping, but a wash-out for the world. I spell my names anyhow, to show what rot the systems are.” (T. E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom, per Meinertzhagen, 1954, Birds of Arabia, p. 6).
