ALDI Special Buys (1 Viewer)

I tried the Fat balls and they are so hard the birds don't touch them so i smashed them up and use as ground feed and still very few takers so it must be all rubbish in them. So i'm back to making my own which they love.

Was in Aldi the other day and the feeding equipment seemed pretty good, for the price at least. Obviously you get what you pay for but they weren't too shoddy. Wilkinsons is the only other place I have found that many Mealworms, that cheap.

I bought some of the fat balls and would agree, they do seem pretty tough and nowhere near as crumbly as some others which will probably just make the birds ignore them! Was nice to see no netting on them though |=)| Still can't believe how many manufacturers still use netting!

True! Keep it in the boot and if it gets damaged or stolen you've lost nothing (apart from your car of course!) and you would never get caught out without some sort of scope

12.75 Kg of mixed wild seed for £7.99. Is pretty good! Might be bulked with rubbish but for £8 for nearly 13kg worth ego. Was thinking of buying few small bags if sunflower hearts just to add to the 13kg for bit extra.

Anybody know if that scope has a decent spec or not ?

Tempted at the price, but is it too good to be true ?

EDIT : Just realised it was June not July, never mind lol

Its worth having a hunt round your local Aldis as there may be some lurking at the bottom of the racks. I bought one a few years ago, can't remember the price, and while it can't be described as decent scope, its handy to have in the boot, for those annoying times:t:
