    Pongorup NP is one of the few places where the White-breasted Robin can be found. But actually he found us and cavorted around for a few minutes making sure I had plenty of chances to photograph him LOL His is rather cute, isn't he and poses rather like our own robin.

    The White-breasted Robin is endemic to Australia's south-west. This one, according to an entomologist friend, is about to have a staphylinid beetle for lunch.

    .... he showed me a bit of his wing!!! He was sitting on the stump when I tried to take his picture, then the obvious happened. Actually this is a bit of a plumage info picture. White-breasted Robins have a white wing bar, but it's only visible in flight. The vaguely similar female Hooded...

    Taken on a recent birding trip to Walpole in the South west of the state. They were very numerous.
