    I stumbled upon this bold guy landing on a rock very close to the shore. I wasn't carrying my 7D II at the time so I had to zoom all the way in with crappy iPhone camera, hence the poor image quality. I guess it was a sandpiper species but I'm not sure. Please help me identify it, thank you.

    Little predator Shikra attack the bird hide

    By the end of peak bird season, I had a chance to capture birds from a photo blind. However, two Shikras kept attacking the birds at the hide. They didn't catch any, but their repeated attempts created a thrilling scene throughout the session while I was there.
