    I saw one of these gulls killing and eating a baby feral pigeon yesterday in Napier. It took off with it before I could rescue it.

    This gull is breaking into a green-lipped mussel. It breaks them by flying up in the air and drops it on the pebble beach. I hope all those in the terrible weather areas are safe and sound.
