    this Australlian Jassmine tree flowers at this time of the year, for the obvious reason, LOL, and these little brats have a feast on its nectar. this boy need to work a lot to get back his beautiful colors and long tail. hope you like it.

    I think this is an eclipse plumaged male, judging by the colour of the bill. I don't usually manage to sort them out from females!! Shutter Priority settings f/5.6 1/800 sec ISO 200 Exp bias 0 Focal length 167 mm Max aperture 3 (but I don't know what that means)

    Another image from Titchwell, this time a shoveller. If someone could confirm that this is an eclipse male I'd appreciate it. Taken from quite a distance so there's been heavt cropping, otherwise, unedited.
