    I think that's a good decision, and something I struggled with, with the 95mm. I often wanted to be "further away" which is never a good feeling!

    Yeah, I can appreciate that, and maybe it should be marketed for a green birding lifestyle which it presumably fits quite well. But all this "rough terrain and remote areas"?! The typical UK birder is terrified of leaving their car or mobile signal in case something rare breaks on the pager;)...
