I wonder how much worse than black or green optics, an orange version actually is. I mean there is a reason we don't walk around wildlife watching dressed in orange. I'd see orange optics and assume these are intended for search and rescue, where the aim is to be as visible as possible. They... -

I think that's a good decision, and something I struggled with, with the 95mm. I often wanted to be "further away" which is never a good feeling! -

Yeah, I can appreciate that, and maybe it should be marketed for a green birding lifestyle which it presumably fits quite well. But all this "rough terrain and remote areas"?! The typical UK birder is terrified of leaving their car or mobile signal in case something rare breaks on the pager;)... -
