Looks like a Palm Warbler - but in Bonaire???

I've identified about 20 birds seen in Bonaire on a two hr walk through town on Dec 22, but this one has me stumped. Looks a bit like a Plam Warbler, but I don't think they are found that far south. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Pete

Comment by 'PETEB01' in media 'Caribbean Parakeet, Brown-throated Parakeet, Aratinga pertinax'

Frank, That's a nice photo. I was in Kralendijk, Bonaire two weeks ago and saw a pair near the Muffler King. Got a couple of good photos. Took me a while to figure out what bird I had, since my trip report references called it the Caribbean Parakeet....... I was really happy to see it - but...

Thanks for the quick replies. It sure fooled me at first, as I had never seen an egret soar like that. Would rather it was one of the tropicbirds........... Pete

Oaxaca , Mexico trip report Feb. 5th-9th

Steve, You forgot to tell about the road we took through the 10,000 ft. cloud forest that was washed away in three places, the unidentified meals eaten in local places, the pre-historic fish we ate, the White-tailed Kite (you gotta add the pix, since I don't know how), and about 50 other...

Yes, I'm new to forum - Mexico trip

Just signed on. Have lots of interests, including Birding. Plan on my second trip to Mexico (Oaxaca) in February, and this time just to BIRD. Should be good, since I saw 31 species in one (long) day this past July. This included a field at 8000+ ft, with 50-100 hummers - Green Violet-Eared...
