    Ahh thanks Henry, so it would still be needed to be taken apart to get rid of them I'm guessing. I noticed it appears as little black dots almost like sand in images through the scope. At first when I was looking through the scope I just thought it was dust or an issue with the coatings.

    Thats my thoughts too, why keep the lens when you can enjoy the view through the scope and take photos as and when. I guess the main point for the camera lens is BIF as thats something that would take a lot of skill with a scope. I'm thinking of just using my camera for macro only now tbh...

    I did some research on the Digiscoping groups on Facebook earlier on and it seems the Kowa 883/884 and the ATS 80 also produce some really nice results...I think any scope I get is going to be lighter than the one I've currently got 😂 I'm going to go test the ATC first though and see how I feel...

    Update...Ended up going back last week and ordering a pair of NL Pure 8x32 - they'd sold out annoyingly but quickly re-stocked...Pick up tomorrow 😁 Apparently they're getting scopes in too...     I'd have definitely looked at Noctivids if they did an 8x32 version. The 8x42 is just a bit too heavy for me based on the stats. I think they have them at a shop thats relatively local though, so I'll probably try them.
