    Beautiful ducks in the UK

Here is a photo of said tattoo, it was quite fresh when this was taken, but it's not the best lighting for a new photo at the moment. I also recently had a puffin tattooed on me, after totally falling in love with them while visiting Skomer 😍

    Beautiful ducks in the UK

I've just had a tattoo cover-up done based upon a mandarin duck, and it's beautiful.

    Teal? (Norfolk UK today 18/02)

Great info - even though I'm not OP, this is handy. Female Gadwall, teal and mallard can be quite similar in certain views - to me anyway!! Im far from a fountain of bird knowledge- so thanks for the tips on what to look for 👍

Could this be a Gadwall? I'm not an expert, but I happened to be looking at them earlier and it looks similar

    Beautiful ducks in the UK

    Potential Goosander? UK

Hey, I was lucky enough to see this duck today on my hike! I THINK it is a Goosander? I've never seen a duck like this, I'm not an avid birdwatcher, but I do very much enjoy seeing new (to me) species randomly. I didn't get a fantastic photo, as I only had my phone today and the duck was quite...

Help with ID-ing a Bird of Prey please!

Thank you!! 😊, much appreciated. And - I really didn't know that buzzards' plumage varies in shades so much! I think that is what threw me slightly, I could not see an image anywhere which matched the bird I saw, but thank you for the information, I will bear jt in mind when I go on my hikes...

Help with ID-ing a Bird of Prey please!

Thank you!! I was trying to compare it with the illustrations in my RSPB book, but the buzzard didn't seem to match properly, yet nor did any other of their images. Thanks for clarifying and the future buzzard spotting advice, appreciated 👍

Help with ID-ing a Bird of Prey please!

Hi everyone! I was out on my walk today, in Pensford near Bristol & Bath. I saw a bird and thought he must be either a red kite or buzzard because they're very common here, I got home and got out my RSPB book, but I cannot work out what it was!! I am VERY very new to this, so please don't...

New Fancy - Forest of Dean

Hello everyone!! I have just signed up to ask your (far more informed!) Opinions on what juvenile BoP I saw whilst driving to Beechenhurst Lodge... It was flying very low, literally right in front of our windscreen, it was brown with slightly spotted underwing (tentative on this, it was a quick...
