    Fixing Rubber Eyecups back on

Be very careful using super glue near optics. The fumes will damage the coatings. I prefer using contact adhesive. A thin film on the insides of the rubber cups and a thin film on the eyepieces. Wait until tacky then push together.

    Elinor 10x50 removing focus wheel

There are two possibilities. There may be a screw up the middle of the centre column. Try a screw driver and see if you can feel a slot but your description of the fault makes that unlikely. Or there may be a screw under the rubber covering the focus wheel. if there is then it engages with the...

    Binocular eyepiece repair

In photo 4 you can see a shiny silver scratch on the right eyepiece. This shows where one of the grub screws made contact with the tube that holds the lenses but then slipped and made the mark. You should find two more around the circumference.

    Binocular eyepiece repair

in photo 2 the tube with lenses has screwed in too far. Carefully grip it and unscrew it , probably anti-clockwise so that there is enough plain metal showing. Look at the the piece in photo 3 and locate the three tiny grub screws. It is these that secure photo 3 to the top of photo 2. You will...
