    Just killed a barn owl 😢

    On the way home right near home the storm must have thrown it into the car, only 100 yards from home😢 Really shook up beautiful bird, I got out but could hardly stand up in the wind, it must have been hungry to hunt in that, it had stopped raining as they don’t like hunting in the wet.

    Any meadow planters

    We have planted an hedge, Hawthorn, Hazel, blackthorn, wild rose etc. Want to have an area of meadow for next year, anybody done this?

    Recommend a decent tripod?

    One that actually works. This Vanguard I have just got which was thrown in free with the scope is a pile of trash, you locate a bird/mammal etc and lock it, then it just moves, its stable enough on the ground but the head(most important part) is garbage. Not fit for purpose, no wonder it was...
