    Taken on the same date as the Western I just posted, note the Eastern colors are is quite a bit brighter. Great shot.

    Finally. There's a family of about 10 of this species living in the Tijuana River Valley, San Diego, CA. After trying dozens of time to photograph them, I finally did. Got them in every conceivable pose - like 300+ frames. Like this flyby shot.
