Grey Heron on the Hunt

I was watching this Heron at the far end of the pond, just a little too far for good quality images when it made an immediate dive to the centre. What did it see?

Takes Two to Tango

So an action shot as well when the two of them start fighting. Looked like one was trying to drown the other as I have a sequence of photos of this battle. Great to watch.

Not one but two

SO my first-ever capture of a Kingfisher. Extremely difficult as they were hiding in the reeds but, not just one I got two. Quality not the best, but I'm happy that I have broken my duck !!!!

This lovely little guy was not too bothered about me being pretty close to him. I didn't see him at first as he was well camouflaged against the sand. Isle of Bute Scalpsie Bay on Saturday Morning.
