Pros
  • Really comfortable to hold for extended periods.
  • Sharp, crisp image
  • Great accessories
Cons
  • Really sensitive focussing
  • Struggles in poor light
I bought this to replace an old generic 10x50 monocular. I was initially drawn to it by the hand grip which REALLY makes it comfortable to hold.
During daytime hours, this is just about perfect. Unlike others, I actually like the focussing ring and find it simple to use one-handed. It is, however, very sensitive, meaning that it only needs TINY adjustments to focus. This is simple in broad daylight but is more tricky in darker conditions.

It's not ideally suited for astronomy due to its relatively small aperture. This restricts it's light gathering powers and also it's field of view. It is great for observing the Moon and brighter planets though.
The moon in particular is a fantastic sight and the Jovian inner moons are just visible. It's quite good for separating brighter double stars and clusters but struggles to show any details of nebulosity around Pleiades.
Despite this, it's great fun to use for OTG astronomy as it's so comfortable and convenient to use.
As it's "Nature" name suggests, THIS is where it REALLY excels. I usually prefer binoculars to monoculars as I like the depth of the image and I also like to use both eyes but this little scope has converted me. I will definitely be looking at getting an eye patch for observing to avoid having to close one eye. The diminutive size of this scope means you can even put it in a trouser pocket if you don't want it around your neck or attached to a belt.
The decent eye relief paired with telescopic guard mean few smudges to clean and there's minimal reflection inside.
It's NOT the cheapest but is fantastic for nature watching.
Well done Celestron!

Pros
  • Affordable, easy to use, water proof
Cons
  • Sometimes, it's difficult to adjust
It is a great choice for walking, bird watching. With the waterproof feature, it's easy to carry it anywhere even in the bad weather condition. The only thing is that it's quite difficult to adjust to some people. But it comes with super affordable price. Btw, just consider when choosing it.

Pros
  • Compact, Rubberized, Not expensive
Cons
  • Very tight focus ring!
Bought it new and had it only one day. After that I returned it back to the shop and bought Levenhuk Wise PLUS 10x42 Monocular. The problem was with very tight focus ring. I couldn't focus with the same hand with wich I hold it. It was very annoying. Even with two hands you need to use power to roll the focus ring! Will not recommend it to anybody!
