Identification
28cm. Olive-brown upperparts and streaky underparts. It has an orangey cap, a black moustache and black stripe through and below the eye. Iris - reddish; bill - black; feet - dark brown. Sexes similar.
Distribution
Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, and Singapore.

Forest and forest edge, often in marshy reed bed areas, near rivers or swamps.
Behaviour
The diet includes fruits and insects.
They build cup-shaped nests in trees made of vines, small twigs and grass. 2 eggs are laid.
