Endemic to Southeast Asia: found in Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand

Taxonomy

Formerly placed in the genus Coracina.

Subspecies^[1]

• L. p. jabouillei:

• Northern Vietnam

• L. p. indochinensis:

• Myanmar to central Thailand, central Laos and southern Vietnam

• L. p. polioptera:

• Southern Myanmar to southern Thailand, Cambodia and southern Laos
