Very well captured! It's a great joy for us that Moorhens breed on our pond every year. Two herons are quite frequent visitors but I have never seen this. 2017 UK orchids
Many thanks - very useful tip about the stem. We tend to assume that we will have the 'marsh' variant of almost anything e.g marsh ragwort as it's a bit damp around here! I think you may be right that these are not pure as the one in the first picture has very obvious spotting to the leaves...- Colin&Wendy

Many thanks Rich. I'm going to do a better job of documenting them over the next few days. I was interleaving the job with the much less pleasurable one of documenting the ash die-back situation on our land. For us, this year has been quite exceptional for orchids. We have a smallholding in the Glossopdale area.
