Wood Stork (Mycteria americana)

Habitat
wetlands
Location
St Augustine, FL
Date taken
4-25-2007
Scientific name
Mycteria americana
Equipment used
Nikon D50+Sigma 80-400 OS
Great details despite the difficulty in exposure posed by the white colour.
BTW concerning the Goshawk and the Wigeon, the Hwk just caried it away into the woods. But somebody has wittnessed another catch 3 days before, and the hawk took 17 minutes to kill the duck, and right on the ground just about 20 foot from the observer!
