Wire-tailed Manakin (Pipra filicauda)

Characteristics
It measures around 10.5 cm in length, plus 4.5 cm in the male and 2.5 cm in the female for the elongated filaments of the tail, which resemble bristles. The male has the top of the head, nape and upper back bright red, the sides and frontal region of the head are golden yellow, and the rest of the upper parts are black and the female is olive green above and more opaque on the lower parts, with a yellow belly.
Habitat
Predominant Biome: Amazon - Geographic distribution Present on the western side of the Amazon, to the left of the Negro, Branco and Madeira rivers (AM, AC, RR), and is also found in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
