Watercress Leaf Beetle (Phaedon viridis: Chrysomelidae) This small beetle is ca. 5 mm (0.2 in) long. Photographed along the Navasota River riparian at the terminus of Sulphur Springs Road, east of College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA. Riparian dominated by cedar elm/water elm/water oak at 66 m (217 ft) elevation.

It's amazing how much detail you managed to capture in such a tiny insect. Great lighting and colours. A superb shot.
