Verreaux's Eagle Owl (Ketupa lactea)

This was taken after sundown. The owl landed in the tree next to my lodge balcony. Don't know who was more surprised - me or the owl! Anyways, managed to get a shot at 51200 ISO and 1/15s. Noise reduction works wonders nowadays.
