The Cup of Life.. overflows.. (Prinia inornata)

Out on my morning walk the other day, I came across this Prinia. Drab and commonplace, Plain Prinias' are lively birds with a distinctive character. Surviving and flourishing in a highly disturbed urban environment, their zeal for life is admirable. This individual sat on a leaf- a largish leaf - with just its head peeping out. It waited, as if wanting me to take a shot and then flew away - who knows where. For it - it was a celebration of life.
