Striated Heron
The latest (15.1) IOC checklist, splits the Old World population under the name "Little Heron" (B. atricapilla) with "Striated Heron" reserved only for South American birds. This well marked juvenile is presumably the race "degens" endemic to the Seychelles. Formerly lumped with North American Green Heron under the name Green-backed Heron. Sometimes included in the genera "Ardea" or "Ardeola". However "Butorides" differs in a number of ways including having no distinct breeding plumage.
