Still Building (Hirundo rustica)

The Swallows at Buckenham on Monday were just starting to build a new nest, collecting mud from a nearby dyke. It was in exactly the same spot as last year. This one was taking a well earned short break on a fence post. Ron

Great capture, Ron, I've still not seen one of these that wasn't flying, well done.

It is alois nice to photograph these beautiful birds. To find the moment bird is resting is a good opportunity to take the shot.

Thank you for sharing,
Cristian

A beautiful capture, Ron. :king: I alway find our swallows so hard to capture - such fast little blighters. :t:

:bounce: Beautiful the pose with the half-folded wings as if it was doing an effort to keep still on the pole!!! Greatly captured, Ron!!! :t: :t:
