Southern Skipperling
Southern Skipperling (Copaeodes minimus: Hesperiidae) Wingspan 1.3- 1.9 cm (0.5-0.75 in). North America’s smallest skipper. Nectaring Bitter Sneezeweed (Helenium amarum: Asteraceae).
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area, manicured park with oak, hackberry, elm, yaupon woods and trails with a main-made pond and creek at 98 m (322 ft) elevation.
Location
John Crompton Park, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
