Solitary Sandpiper (Tringa solitaria solitaria)
Habitat
South Texas Plains vegetation area, Lower Rio grande Valley, adjacent to Arroyo Colorado, Tamaulipan scrub (reclaimed land from an old dump site) at 6 m (20 ft) elevation. Small, shallow man made pond.
Location
Hugh Ramsey Nature Park, Harlingen, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA.
