Solitary Eagle soaring above the Belizean Forest (Buteogallus solitarius)

Another Solitary Eagle, this time an adult soaring above the tropical forest of Belize. Here you can see how short the tail it is, barely projecting beyond the trailing edge of the wings, which is one of the most important features to ID solitary eagles in flight.
