brilliant flight capture.

the new firmware update took the flight shots with this camera to a new level, wish one of the honest youtubers makes a review comparing it to the z9,8, and the high end r models.

Yes they have helped, there is an English guy who lives in Japan he is on Youtube who has them both, at least I think he compared it with the Z8 or 9, it was definitely a Nikon anyway, his name is Richard Cook, he loves his Nikon, but I think the OM1 came out slightly ahead for AF and birds in flight etc in fact he was testing them photographing Swallows, which are notoriously difficult, and at that time a few months ago, he hadn't updated the firmware yet, I did tell him to do so and how to do it, but not sure if he has yet, he was worried about bricking it. I have updated mine with each firmware update and not had a problem.

EDIT it was the Z8 against the OM1 -

Thanks Kits, very lucky, it was early morning and it just appeared quartering a field, never seen one in the area before, its usually Barn owls we see still not complaining!
