Shoemaker's Tree
Shoemakers Tree (Byrsonima crassifolia: Malpighiaceae) These are small trees usually 7 m tall or less (23 ft) but reaching heights of 13 m (43 ft). Branches and trunk are dark in color (blackish). Flowers are bright yellowing turning red-orange with age. Fruits are edible and apparently used to make an alcoholic drink. Photographed north of Smara, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica. Dry tropical forest at ca. 360 m (1,181 ft) elevation.

It's beautiful Stanley, why is it called Shoemaker's? I keep looking at it - am sure to be missing something. The colours are gorgeous, and it's really well detailed.
 
What beautiful flowers it bares Stanley. This image is brilliant, the flowers jump right out at you.
