It’s Sea Otter Awareness Week so it’s only right that some sea otter photos get posted here. This is a photo of a sea otter mother and her pup (the mother is in the process of eating a small crab). Sea otter mothers are incredibly devoted and are immensely skilled at their maternal task. The bond between mother and pup is extremely strong and is a crucial aspect of their relationship.
