Redshank
It's hard to stay away from Kinnordy during April, there is so much going on there.

A Redshank very kindly came close to the hide on this visit, and in lovely light too. They're usually way out on the bog bean islands and difficult to get decent shots of.

We are lucky to have 3 pairs breeding in the field beyond our garden - 6 chicks seen so far, fingers crossed they all make it; super little waders and nice photo Delia.
 
Super Shank capture Delia, well done lass...In all the years I've been on Birdforum, I dont think I've ever ventured into Opus.
