Red-tailed Hawk, Dark Morph, in Flight (Buteo jamaicensis)

Buteo jamaicensis, the better half of the pair of nesting Red-tails at a park in La Mesa, CA, 03-20-04, CP 5700 1.5X. I\'m not sure, but I think this one is the female. More pics of this pair can be seen at www.picturetrail.com/marysan Newest Pics, Vol. 2.
