I hope I ID this Cockatoo correctly, it does not have a red tail.

A wonderful capture of its glossy black plumage.
Sorry but too many subspecies for me to id and too far away for an experienced evaluation of your id. Maybe correct or very close to the perfect id. Guess the ids in bf are perfect to wipe out your doubts.

What a smashing shot this is Dick!!!!!!

I just did a search of images for this bird and except for the red on the tail there seems to be no difference. Could this be an immature? Whatever it is, it is one brilliant capture Dick.
