Red Rumped Parrot

I captured this Red Rumped Parrot on my property near Bendigo. It is the first time I have seen this species on my place. The Noisy Minors were driving them away with their constant aerial attacks, but tonight they didn't seem to mind and I was able to photograph them quite easily.

These are loverly parrots wish you had managed to shot him showing his red rump. I used to breed these in my avary when I had one about 20 years ago in Tauranga New Zealand.
