Red-neck
The tide was well out when we got to the hide overlooking the Princess Royal Harbour... but at least we were stretching our legs!

Out on the mud (where else do you find these?) were a few Red-necked Stints.

Another strange coincidence, I'd seen these on my first day birding in Brisbane with Ken and here I'm seeing them again on my first day in WA with Alex and June!

You did good finding this bird, it blends in well with the background colors. It looks like the bird may have found something to eat Delia
