Red-Crested Cardinal (Oahu) (Paroaria coronata)

Hi folks,
Back from trip to Hawaii. Sorry I didn't get a chance to post while there but had a great time and even tho I didn't do that much birding, managed to get 10 new life birds. Mostly the common ones as I didn't get a chance to get to the moutain forest and get any of the honeyeaters, but some neat birds anyway.
This one is the Red-crested Cardinal and is found mostly on Oahu. It is a transplant years ago from South America but now thrives on Oahu in many of the parks and open grass areas.
