Purple-crowned Fairy-Wren (Malurus coronatus)

This is the largest of Australia's Fairy-Wrens,found only in Northern Australia,far away from major cities and towns.Taken on Kodachrome some 30years ago.

Thats a great shot ,really super little bird.
recon i have got the Fairy Wren bug must get myself up north as soon as i can before i get to old.
