Olive Sparrow
Olive Sparrows are usually very shy, tending to skulk deep in the thorn scrub. so was pleased to get this photo of one at a bird-blind water feature. A rather drab, unassuming bird divided into two subspecies groups. This is presumably the nominate subspecies ranging from Texas to Eastern Mexico. It is the dullest the nine recognized races.
