Olive Honeyeater (Lichmera argentauris)

We confirmed breeding here with observations of adults feeding young. Another limited range species confined to islets in the Moluccas to West Papua. The key mark is the whitish smudge on the cheeks and dull bare skin below the eye as seen here. Also known as Plain-olive Honeyeater, Silver Honeyeater, and Silver-spangled Honeyeater. This is a new species for the gallery.
