Not too co-operative
She wasn't any closer to us than her hubby, and wouldn't turn her head so I could get any detail!

Some birds just don't deserve having their pictures taken, do they!!!

Guess she was not aware that you like to capture her. Sometimes is bird photography so unrewarding. We spend time, money and enthusiasm and this is what we get in return.
Nevertheless, well done. A lovely capture of this uncooperative eider. :flyaway:
