Nightingale

when out this morning I managed to capture this Nightingale.I watched him for about ten minutes hearing his marvellous song truly one of highlights of spring...along with cuckoos calling for me.We are very lucky where I live we have a good number of these fantastic birds.

How wonderful for you Chris.... not just to hear his beautiful song, but to get a picture as well!! Surely a bonus.

We don't get them up here. Years ago, when my sister lived in Kent, she took us up the hill to listen for one. We never did hear it, because we got distracted by the call and sightings of a Nightjar - magical!! That was a lifer for me too!

Excellent work here lad - many thanks for the memories of that evening!
